Wizz Air passengers can check in for their flights online. Online check-in opens 30 days prior to the scheduled take-off time for a Wizz Air flight and closes 3 hours before it. Once they have checked in online, passengers can print their own boarding pass. Any passenger younger than 14 must have an adult older than 16 years of age check in on their behalf. While checking in online, passengers can select their seat, increase their checked luggage allowance and add Priority Boarding. Even if they check in online, passengers who are not from an EU or EEA country must go to the airport check-in counter to have their travel documents checked. If passengers do not check in online they will have to pay a charge to check in at the airport.

Passengers on Wizz Air flights are entitled to 1 small item of hand luggage, subject to the dimension limitations of 42 x 32 x 25 cm. Passengers are also allowed 1 personal item that must be smaller than 40 x 30 x 18 cm. Passengers can also pay an extra fee to bring a large item of hand luggage instead of a small one.
